Dr. Jackie Thielen is a graduate of the University of Minnesota undergraduate and medical school programs. After finishing training in the Twin Cites which included a Chief resident year, she came on staff at the Mayo Clinic in 1994. Dr. Thielen is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and a member of the Division of General Internal Medicine. In 2005, she was a founding member of the Women’s Health Clinic which focuses on women’s health emphasizing menopause and sexual medicine. Recently having moved to Florida, Dr. Thielen has promoted new endeavors in clinical practice, education and research in the health care of women on the Mayo Clinic Florida campus.
As a married, mother of 3 boys, she would say she has “balance in life”-talking to women all day and men at night.
