It’s Wow Girl Wednesday!! This week, we’re shouting out a girl who carries a lot of weight on her shoulders – literally!!! 7-year-old Rory van Ulft is the youngest U.S. youth national weightlifting champion in history, recently winning the Youth National Championship for her age and weight class. Rory got her start as a gymnast at age 5. Her advice to other girls thinking of taking up weight lifting, “don’t ever think about the weight. Just think about your form.” We say that’s advice you can apply to any aspect of your life. Here’s to Rory, who is #wowgirlstrong and writing her own story, one pound at a time!
