Generation WOW is launching an exciting new program on Thursday, February 18^th at 5 P.M. EST., WOWsdom! LIVE. A girl centric, monthly program designed to help our next generation of teen leaders find their way, WOWsdom! LIVE will feature a powerhouse line up of special guests and interactive activities in a virtual environment, where girls will gather, forge diverse friendships, listen and learn from each other. This is an opportunity for girls to engage with a host of amazing featured guests who have fought for a seat at the table, embraced the impossible, overcome insurmountable obstacles, dreamed big crazy dreams and followed their dreams to action. On the third Thursday of each month in 2021, WOWsdom! LIVE will explore a theme from the best selling book, WOWsdom! The girl guide tothe Positive and the Possible! Themes will address real world issues girls face every day, including: Finding Your Passion, Connection is a Super Power, Living Your Purpose, Making A Difference and Stress Management. It will be the fun conversation and activities, including WOW in action takeaways, that will all combine for an energizing and entertaining time. WOWsdom! LIVE kicks off in February with a special guest, Taj McWilliams-Franklin, whose rise from very humble beginnings to winning an Olympic gold medal, becoming a six-time WNBA All-Star and two-time WNBA champion shows us how to persevere and succeed. Girls in the audience will get exclusive, inside access to meet and get to know Taj, ask questions, learn what was really like to have to prove to her family that she had worthy goals. These are the conversations that bring girls together and remind them that they are not alone. WOWsdom! LIVE is open to all girls around the world in grades 8 to 12.
