Dr. Doris Pastore loves connecting your health to your entire person, and addressing the big picture as well as its detailed view, in every visit with you. Dr. Pastore is passionate about helping individuals and families facing an Eating Disorder issue sort out the medical and treatment path that is right for them.
As the Medical Liaison for the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, New York Chapter, she provides leadership advancing the understanding of its medical complexities. Dr Pastore is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist.
Dr. Pastore is the recipient of Castle Connolly Top Doctors and Super Doctors awards and has served on the national Executive Board of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine and regional health committees for the American Academy of Pediatrics. As a faculty member of the Icahn School of Medicine she trained over 20 fellows in Adolescent Medicine.
Dr. Pastore is a graduate (summa cum laude) of St. John’s University and the New York Medical College. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Montefiore Medical Center – Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a fellowship in adolescent medicine at North Shore University Hospital – Cornell University Medical College. She lives with her family in Manhattan where her favorite mode of transportation is her vespa.
