Anila Lingamneni

 

Anila Lingamneni is Vice President of Renal R&D, Baxter’s R&D function responsible for providing renal therapy solutions to our chronic and acute dialysis patients, through design and development of medical devices and software applications. The Renal R&D team is responsible for the entire product life cycle management of devices, from ideation through launch, sustainability and eventual end of life. Her team is organized around specific therapies with system and hardware/software expertise, and core engineering and science disciplines which can be leveraged across both the Renal Care and Acute Therapies Global Business Units. The R&D team has a global footprint and a vision for building world class strategic competencies that enable us to drive innovative and competitive therapy solutions and products for our patients.

Prior to joining Baxter in 2013, Anila served as Chief Technology Officer for the X-Ray Diagnostic Imaging Business Unit at General Electric in Waukesha, Wisconsin. During her 15 year career at General Electric, she was a key player in the launch of more than 20 new electromechanical products. In addition to her strong technical background, she has proven herself as an authentic leader and mentor. She has successfully managed operations around the globe supported by a culturally diverse and geographically distributed team of engineers.

Anila was recognized with the HBA (Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association) Outstanding Luminary award in 2018. She has also been awarded the SWE (Society of Women Engineers) Women in Technology award in 2011. She is currently a Baxter Foundation board member and Baxter Global Inclusion Council member. Anila received her Bachelor’s in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Masters in Mathematics from BITS in Pilani, India, and a second Masters in Biomedical Engineering from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa.
