Susan Walker is a Managing Director and Market Executive for Bank of America Private Bank. She has overall responsibility for a highly experienced team of Wealth professionals in Jacksonville, FL. In her role as Market Executive, she understands the demands and complexities of substantial wealth and helps Advisors and their teams deliver an exceptional client experience to the individuals and families they serve.
Susan oversees the effective delivery of an extensive array of financial services and strategies for clients
with sophisticated needs to include: investment management, trust and estate planning services, credit and philanthropy. She channels resources, advocates for client needs and enhances team effectiveness through the strengths and capabilities of Advisors and Specialists throughout the enterprise. Attuned to the challenges and nuances of Private Bank clients and their families, Susan fosters a team-focused approach to help meet their unique needs. With more than three decades of financial services experience, Susan has been recognized for her effective leadership skills, her ability to establish strategic direction, grow and retain top talent and build successful teams and partnerships.
She began her banking career with Bank of America in Charlotte, NC. Throughout her time at Bank of America, Susan held a number of leadership roles in the Consumer Bank, Risk Management and the Global Wealth Group both in NC and FL. She joined BB&T in 2010 as the Wealth Advisor Group Director for FL. In May of 2019, Susan returned to Bank of America as the Private Bank Managing Director and Market Executive for Jacksonville, FL.
Susan received her bachelor degrees in Chemistry and Economics/Business Administration from Knox College in Galesburg, IL and her MBA in Finance from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. She is a Six Sigma Green Belt and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 66 licenses along with FL Life, Health and Variable Annuity Insurance. She is active in her community having served on various boards that promote education and the arts.
