The Generation WOW Experience is a dynamic, energetic program that connects girls and women to inspire, educate, and motivate each other. In January 2021, NE Florida schools will host the Generation WOW experience in an innovative and collaborative virtual environment, providing for all of the feels and the profound, life-changing impact of the Generation WOW in person events, while keeping girls safely social distanced in small assemblies within their schools and for virtual students, in their homes. Girls will explore diverse career pathways, leadership development, mentorship, healthy choices, goal-setting, and decision-making through this impactful experience. For two power-packed hours, high school girls will be energized, galvanized and invested in the positive and the possible. They’ll build crucial self-esteem and leadership skills and hear from dynamic women across the country, who will inspire them to dream big and put those dreams into action, including:
  • Dr. Maya Warren, a chemical engineer, who is using her degree in chemical engineering to create ice cream flavors to delight our taste buds
  • Rachel Jacobson, one of the leading women in technology, CEO of the Drone Racing League, who is committed to inspiring and helping girls to become more involved in tech
  • Gigi Lucas, a lover of the Ocean who is working to change the world as the founder of SurfearNegra, a non-profit dedicated to exposing girls of color to the ocean
  • Sanyin Siang, a world-renowned thought-leader and author, she serves as the Executive Director of Duke University’s Coach K Center on Leadership & Ethics (COLE) at the Fuqua School of Business
