Two sports legends are joining the lineup for Generation W’s 10-year signature event inTENtional 2021. Billie Jean King, sports icon, champion of equality and winner of 39 Grand Slam titles, and Ilana Kloss, CEO of Billie Jean King Enterprises and former World No. 1 doubles tennis player, will discuss their ground-breaking careers as well as their pioneering work for equality, empowerment and access in and out of sports. The two champions for women’s rights will be a part of the all-star lineup that will be “inTENtional” as they elevate lives, our world and our planet, virtually, on April 16 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. “I am beyond excited to have these two-barrier breaking women join our anniversary celebration,” said Donna Orender, founder and president of Generation W and CEO of Orender Unlimited. “King and Kloss have been true trailblazers on the front lines of culture and change in the interest of building a more equitable world.” King, founder of the Billie Jean King Leadership Initiative, was named one of the “100 Most Important Americans of the 20th Century” by Life magazine and was a 2009 recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. King is founder of the Women’s Tennis Association and the Women’s Sports Foundation and part of the ownership group of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Sparks and Angel City FC. Kloss oversees Billie Jean King Enterprises, which is engaged in diversity, equity and inclusion consulting and strategic partnerships for leading corporations around the world. She is a member of the ownership group of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Sparks and Angel City FC. A founding board member of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Kloss is actively involved in the Women’s Sports Foundation as a member of the executive board and past board chair. Generation W’s 10-year celebration will encourage participants to be inTENtional about the change they want to make in 2021.
